How much does it cost to work with you?

It varies depending on what’s needed. I’m happy to send a quote or give a ballpark when I know more specifics.

Such and such charges less. Can you match them?

No. Design isn’t a commodity.
“A commodity is anything for which there is demand, but which is supplied without qualitative differentiation across a market. In other words, copper is copper. Rice is rice. Stereos, on the other hand, have many levels of quality. And, the better a stereo is, the more it will cost.”
In the same way that clients choose their designers, designers choose their clients. It’s up to the designer to work with those who value their skills.

How long will the project take to complete?

Time frames generally vary from one week to three months depending on deliverables.

Can you start now?

Possibly. My focus is always on current clients, and I won’t work on more than two projects at a time. That’s good news for those who hire me — they get a lot more of my time and attention.

Can you make my design look similar to this?

That’d be easy, but is it really a good idea to fit in? It’s more difficult, but ultimately much more rewarding, if the design sets a product apart.

You’re in a different State/ country from me. Will this affect things?

The majority of my clients are in a different location from me. And that hasn’t been a problem whatsoever, and as much as I enjoy meeting face-to-face I’ve found that talking on the phone, Skype, and communicating by email can save everyone a lot time that would otherwise be spent traveling.

How do you accept payment?

With most projects I ask for a 50% down payment by bank transfer before scheduling the work. The remaining 50% is paid on completion and just before I ship the designs.

Can you recommend other designers?

I’m always happy to recommend others. Tell me what you need, and what your budget is.

Thank you
