Creative Spree: Adobe Permits Designers to Dabble With it's LOGO and Uses Their Ideas for Branding
Sagmeister & Walsh

Right From December 2013, Adobe has been asking the creative community to tinker with its Logo, giving room for designers to come up with their own version of the Adobe logo.

According to Karl Isaac, head of Adobe’s brand strategy and innovation, the project is to showcase their brand strategy and “bring the community deep into the brand itself”. By allowing artists to use the “most sacred, cherished, policed and enforced” part of their brand, their logo, Adobe has successfully energized the brand by getting their customers and community involved in their dynamic branding.

Adobe is currently integrating the artists’ renderings into its corporate identity—on their business cards, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. So far, the project has featured artists like Jessica Walsh and Stefan Sagmeister of Sagmeister & Walsh and Alex Trochut, scoring over 10.8 million social impressions and 63,000 social engagements.
